FARES

Adults: $25
Seniors: $20
Children under 13:   $15

We accept MasterCard and Visa. Groups of 10 or more receive 15% off regular fares.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations are not required, but they are recommended on summer weekends and for sunset cruises. Just give us a call to let us know when you want to come and how many people are in your party. We'll hold your tickets until 15 minutes before departure.

WEATHER

New Englander weather forecasts have their uses but are not entirely reliable. We do not usually cancel trips based solely on the forecast. The captain decides whether or not to sail very close to departure time. Thunderstorms, thick fog, steady rain, and/or winds in excess of 25 knots may cause a trip to be cancelled.

WHAT TO BRING

It's always cooler out on the water, so do bring a sweatshirt or windbreaker. High heels or dress shoes will be awkward, uncomfortable, and potentially unsafe -- we strongly recommend sneakers, sandals, or boat shoes. Cameras, video cameras, sunglasses and sunscreen are also good ideas.

Snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine are sold on board, and passengers are welcome to bring their own snacks. However, coolers, glass bottles, and alcoholic beverages may NOT be brought aboard.

There is a marine head (restroom) on board. It is below decks, accessed by descending a short ladder, so persons with limited mobility may wish to do their business ashore before coming aboard.

SEASICKNESS

Seasickness is rarely a problem on beamy schooners like FAME operating in protected waters close to shore. Nobody has ever gotten sick during one of our Salem Sound cruises. However, those prone to motion sickness may wish to take some Dramamine half an hour before sailing.
